What You’ll Learn in Our TECC – C.LEO

The TECC – C.LEO training course is designed for civilians and law enforcement officers who need critical survival skills to support casualties not only in violent incidents (terrorist attacks, active shooter events, violent crime), but also in catastrophic urban emergencies such as earthquakes, multi-vehicle accidents, and other mass-casualty incidents.

Based on the internationally recognized TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) protocols, this training focuses on:

• Stabilizing casualties in dangerous or threatening conditions

• Casualty management in active shooter and mass-violence scenarios

• Response to catastrophic urban emergencies involving multiple casualties

• Safe evacuation and incident management through evidence-based protocols

A core element of the course is situational awareness, enabling participants to recognize threats early and make the right decisions under pressure.

Through Genesol’s TECC training, participants gain the skills to deliver effective casualty care in both direct and indirect threat environments, while also ensuring safe and structured evacuation.

This inclusive approach ensures that both professionals and motivated individuals gain the critical skills to act decisively in life-threatening scenarios.

  • Scene Safety & Threat Assessment – recognition and protection during criminal actions, active shooter incidents, and terrorist attacks
  • Gunshot & Blast Injuries – identification and immediate management of ballistic and blast trauma
  • Bleeding Control – use of tourniquets, hemostatic dressings, and wound packing techniques
  • Airway Management – essential and advanced skills to secure the airway in high-risk environments
  • Management of Retained Foreign Objects – safe stabilization of injuries involving embedded objects
  • Chest Injuries – sealing, decompression, and respiratory support techniques
  • Hypothermia Prevention & Treatment – protecting casualties in adverse environmental conditions
  • Casualty Drags & Carries – effective movement and extraction techniques under threat
  • Victim Evacuation – structured casualty evacuation according to TECC evidence-based protocols

To join our courses, you need to be at least 18 years old (legal age of adulthood.

  • If you are under 18, a signed consent form from a parent or guardian is required.

This training program has been carefully designed to provide you with practical skills and essential knowledge that can help you respond to bleeding emergencies with confidence. It is important to remember that this course is intended for educational purposes only and does not replace professional medical care.


During the course, you will learn step-by-step techniques based on internationally recognized protocols and will have the opportunity to practice them in realistic scenarios. Always apply what you learn with caution, within your personal limits, and prioritize your own safety as well as the safety of others.


Clothing and footwear appropriate for training scenarios that might take place in a muddy, or inundated environment. (Equipment will be provided upon request in advance and at an additional cost)


Participant Preparation
  • 20 days before the course begins, participants receive their training handbook, which includes comprehensive study material and detailed guidelines.
  • Prior to the first session, a diagnostic pre-test is conducted to assess participants’ knowledge level and ensure a solid learning foundation.
  • A minimum score of 60% is required in the pre-test in order to continue with the program.

  • A dynamic combination of interactive lectures, hands-on practical workshops, and realistic field scenarios designed to simulate real-life search and rescue conditions.


Materials:

  • All participants receive comprehensive course notes and training manuals, ensuring that the knowledge and skills gained during the program can be reviewed and reinforced after the training.

The techniques and skills taught in this course are based on internationally recognized bleeding control and first aid protocols. They have been selected to be safe, practical, and easy to apply by participants of all backgrounds.


In real emergencies, always act within your training, abilities, and personal safety limits, and seek professional medical assistance as quickly as possible.

Physical Disclaimer
Training may expose participants to challenging and stress-inducing activities, including:

  • Walking, running, lifting, carrying, dragging, crawling
  • Hot/cold temperatures, wet/dark/smoky/dusty environments
  • Loud noises and realistic combat-type scenarios

Certification & Standards

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded a TECC – C.LEO (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care for Citizens & Law Enforcement Officers) Certificate of Completion.

  • The certification is fully aligned with Greek legislation.
  • It reflects internationally recognized bleeding control and first aid standards and protocols, ensuring both compliance and global applicability.

Recommendation

It is strongly recommended that participants renew their certification every two (2) years. Regular renewal helps ensure that trainees remain up to date with the latest bleeding control guidelines and protocols, while also maintaining:

  • Heightened safety awareness in real-life emergencies
